This is unfortunately the stove my apartment came with. Sure, it has the basics: four burners and an oven. But consider this if you actually want to use the oven--there's no way to check the oven temperature (accurately) without opening the door. There's no temperature display, no light to indicate the oven has reached temperature, and no window in the door through which to look to check your own thermometer that you've placed inside. Sure, you can stand there and listen for the gas to shut off to tell you it's reached temperature if you want to...

Also, the pilot flames are positioned too close to the range surface, resulting in a buildup of soot on the underside of the sealed cooktop. Over time, this produces an odor very similar to the smell of natural gas, and the whole thing must be disassemlbled for cleaning. Another problem with the pilots being so close to the cooktop is that any spillage/splatter from open pots & pans instantly cooks on to the surface, making for very difficult cleaning.

Fine if you just need a stove to fill the space in your kitchen, but stay away from this model if you actually cook.
